What is Shellac? It is an entire new way to think of nail polish. Most nail salons are using it now. Its more expensive, but worth every penny. It is 14-day wear. 14 days....with twin toddlers, um, yes please! It has virtuanlly zeor dry time, I think mine took about a minute or so. Again, if you have children....hello!! THE DIVA LOVES LIPS

This winter its all about the lips. Lips are taking center stage and putting the smoky eyes behind the curtain. To get this look, go for a pretty red. Go ahead, try it. HOWEVER, The Diva begs to please go with a lip liner as well. Do the same shade as the lip color. Line all of you lips and put the lipstick on after. Trust me, DITS (Divas in Training) there is nothing worse than a red lipstick that runs away from your lips. Eeek. Yucky.

This season, it is all about the strong smoky eyes. It is an easy do that looks amazing for the holidays. One thing that The Diva feels VERY strongly about it having a good brush set. It is virtually impossible to create the look for a smoky eye without a decent blend. And you cannot have a decent blend without a decent brush. Kapeesh?

3. Use two to three coats. No one wants to be Streaky Stella.

4. If black is a little too dramatic for you, try a deep red, plum, or burgundy.
